Llandudno Local Attractions
Llandudno is known as the “Queen of Welsh resorts”. The Wilton Hotel is situated right at the heart of Llandudno. You can stroll along the Promenade and the Pier. Visit the Great Orme whose attractions include copper mines, dry ski slope and toboggan run, cable cars and tramway or wander through the delightful tropical gardens and take in the panoramic views of the Bay.
There are numerous Restaurants and Bars within walking distance, many less than a 5 minute walk away. We are close to the North Wales Theatre, which is just a pleasant 10 minute walk along the beautiful promenade. Llandudno has three large golf courses, the nearest just a 5 minute drive from the hotel.

Within 60 minutes you’re in the heart of Snowdonia or relaxing in the center of Port Merion, explore Caernarfon Castle and the numerous other ancient castles within the area. You can visit the famous slate mines and travel by steam locomotive and view the Welsh valley’s. Closer to home is the historic town of Conwy (10 minutes by car) with it’s old castle, modern marina, cobbled streets, golf course and Britain’s smallest house.
